Nedap in Groenlo heeft onlangs de nieuwe !D Hand gepresenteerd, naar eigen zeggen de lichtste RFID-handlezer ter wereld en de eerste met eenknopsbediening.

De !D Hand is een krachtige RFID-scanner, speciaal ontwikkeld voor de retailomgeving. De scanner onderscheidt zich door zijn slanke, ergonomische ontwerp, waardoor hij licht en lekker in de hand ligt. De handlezer laat in een paar seconden zien welke artikelen in de winkel moeten worden aangevuld, wat er verkeerd is teruggelegd of is verdwenen, claimt het technologiebedrijf.

De !D Hand is compatibel met mobiele computers en smartphones en met Windows CE-apparatuur. Met de open API die op alle platforms werkt kunnen retailers en software integrators op basis van de handlezer hun eigen applicaties bouwen.
