Owens-Illinois (O-I), producent van glasverpakkingen, investeert meer dan 50 miljoen euro in de modernisering van haar fabriek in het Franse Reims.
Het project omvat een vernieuwing van één van de twee ovens van de fabriek, alsook nieuwe industriële apparatuur van de aangesloten productielijnen. Naar verwachting is de upgrade halverwege 2019 voltooid.
Francois Pierrot, country group executive, Zuid-West Europa, voor O-I: ‘Zodra de upgrade is afgerond, kan de fabriek in Reims flessen produceren in drie kleuren en in de volledige range van 0,2 l tot en met Magnum-formaat.’
Owens-Illinois (O-I), producer of glass packaging, is investing more than 50 million euros in the modernization of its factory in Reims, France.
The project includes a renewal of one of the two furnaces of the factory, as well as new industrial equipment of the connected production lines. The upgrade is expected to be completed mid-2019.
