DS Smith Plastics sponsor Europees initiatief

DS Smith Plastics heeft zich aangesloten bij een groep bedrijven die zich bewust zijn van de plastic afval-uitdaging en sponsort de Europese Facebook pagina Are You R.

Het doel van het initiatief is om het publiek te wijzen op het belang van het recyclen van kunststof. Gerichte thema’s binnen deze campagne omvatten het onderscheiden van manieren om de hoeveelheid plastic afval naar stortplaatsen en oceanen te verminderen door hergebruik, beschikbare inzamelingssystemen en hun recyclebaarheid aan het einde van hun levensduur te bevorderen.

Circulaire economie

De Facebook pagina Are You R wordt officieel ondersteund door Crain en Plastics Recyclers Europe (PRE). PRE ondersteunt de overgang naar een circulaire economie en is gericht op het harmoniseren van de recycling normen in heel Europa. Tegenwoordig zijn meer dan 120 Europese bedrijven onderdeel van PRE.

DS Smith Plastics sponsor European initiative

DS Smith Plastics has joined a group of companies concerned with the plastic waste challenge to sponsor the European Facebook Page Are You R.

The goal of the initiative is to educate the public on the importance of recycling plastics. Focused themes within this campaign include identifying ways to reduce the amount of plastic waste going to landfills and oceans by promoting reusability, available collection systems and their recyclability at the end of their useful life.

Circular economy

The Facebook page Are You R is officially supported by Crain and Plastics Recyclers Europe (PRE). PRE supports the transition towards circular economy and aims to harmonize the recycling standards across Europe. Today more than 120 companies across Europe are part of PRE.
