Nestlé heeft tijdens de Nationale Circulaire Economie Conferentie in Den Haag samen met meer dan 70 andere bedrijven en milieuorganisaties het “Plastic Pact” ondertekend.
Het pact is een initiatief van het Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat. De ondertekenaars van het pact spreken af meer plastic opnieuw te gebruiken, al het nieuwe plastic voor 100% recyclebaar te laten zijn en alternatieve verpakkingsmaterialen te onderzoeken.
Nestlé is overtuigd van de dringende noodzaak om de invloed van verpakkingen op het milieu te minimaliseren. Het voedingsmiddelenbedrijf wil uiterlijk in 2025 al haar verpakkingen geschikt maken voor recycling of hergebruik.
During the National Circular Economy Conference in the Hague, the Netherlands, Nestlé along with more than 70 companies and environmental organizations signed the “Plastic Pact”.
The pact is an initiative of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. The signatories of the pact agree to reuse more plastic, to let all the new plastic be a 100% recyclable and examine alternative packaging materials.
Nestlé is convinced of the urgent need to minimize the influence of packaging on the environment. The food company wants to make all its packaging suitable for recycling or reuse not later than 2025.
